Chicago Bears Traditions celebrates the unmatched history of the NFL's charter franchise. The Bears would again reign supreme in the 1980s when Mike Ditka returned to Chicago as the head coach, ushering in a new era of success. During this decade an early version of the present-day symmetrical 'C' became the mark of champions when the Bears won six division titles and made three trips to the NFC championship game. The decade's defining moment came in 1985 when the Bears dominated the NFL with their stifling defense and punishing ground attack, winning Super Bowl XX.
